Partnership with EVgo

EVgo president Dennis Kish has praised the company's relationship with GM, stating that it has enabled them to bring public charging to communities across more than 30 states in the US. The company is also planning to deploy its first flagship destinations next year.

Future Plans

GM has revealed plans for a distinct network of 2,000 DC fast chargers at Flying J and Pilot truck stops, in addition to 400 flagship gas station-style charging locations in major metropolitan areas in states like Florida, California, Texas, and Michigan. GM is also participating in another EV charging network consortium called Ionna, alongside car companies like Hyundai, Kia, BMW, and Stellantis.

GM says the new station, which is near Interstate 215 in Riverside County, serves five 350kW fast chargers for as many as 10 EVs simultaneously.
